Here is the process for getting LMLLM setup on first boot and logging in as the LMLLM user. This assumes that you were able to image the ISO to your HDD or get it running in your favourite VM application of which I use AQEMU.
The first screen you will see is this:
Please choose the default, top, option.
Next, select your Language, keyboard, timezone, and user information from the next few pages, and expect to wait for some progress indicators. I have only tested the applications in English so other languages maybe chosen, but you will be on your own adventure. Expected user input screens shown below.
Once setup is complete you will be greeted with a logon screen. This will show your user account you created, user1, and the pre-created account for LMLLM, the AI account. Simply click on the words "Log In" under the username to enter that account. The desktop will show, it has shortcuts to the two applications used in the auto logon start up, and then AnythingLLM user interface will open full screen once logon is complete. You can confirm that LM Studio server has started by right clicking on the LM Studio icon in the lower left beside the clock. All auto logon launching is done via Linux Mint startup applications program and is for this user only.
More on choosing you LLM library in LM Studio and connecting your AnythingLLM conversation to it later.
