Linux Mint comes with a default Software Manager that makes finding applications simple. Your can browse or search and find almost anything. Many of your favourite mainstream programs can be found directly or in similar versions. For example a productivity suite, called Libre Office, has many of your favourite Office productivity programs and is included already with Linux Mint.
Software Manager can be accessed via Panel Menu by clicking the LM icon and searching for software.
Application opens to common/popular applications. There maybe some delay as it updates its catalogue during startup.
Easily search for apps or type of applications in the top left search window.
Even games are available in the
Software Manager !
You can tell if an application is installed by the green check mark on the app panel.
Opening the app panel gives you more options and details for that application.
