Preparations for the 2012 World Jet Boat Championships have begun. Gord Humphrey will be defending his 2011 World Championship this April at the Salmon River Jet Boat Races-Riggins, Idaho .

Northern Lights with the neighbours yard light giving me the nice horizon in the trees. It was about -13C and I could hear the settling of the trees crackling in the quite of the night. Spring will soon be here and the cool fresh air will be replaced as the days get longer and longer.

 

If you have ever played on a sports team and love to relive "the glory days" then this is definitely a performance for you. Taking place in the locker room of a hockey team, these guy reminisce about their home town championship run and are back in their later years to play against the more youthful team of today. With their current physical shape and life's trials amongst them, the dressing room conversation has no loss of jest and open language. This one made me laugh out loud and feel proud.
